Search for young singers, dancers and musicians to feature as soloists!

The Live for Music Tour would like to find exceptional soloists for our high school concerts. We're looking for singers, dancers and musicians under the age of 18. For information on the Live for Music Tour, please visit our website.

We're looking for soloists to feature in our concerts, and we're still booking all the upcoming high school shows. We started a YouTube contest between schools simply because we were receiving too much demand and had to figure out a way to select the schools we visit. So here's what you could do to be a part of Live for Music:

1-Send us a YouTube video of you performing one of Shaun Barrowes' original songs. You'll find some of the other audition videos here.

2-Help one of your local high schools win a Live for Music Concert. Show this website to one of the teachers at the school (they can be in charge of any music ensemble at the school--choir, glee, drumline, jazz band, dance, etc.) and help them put together winning videos for the contest.

If you help your own high school win, you'll definitely have the chance to be featured as a soloist. Otherwise, you can take your chances and hope we book a school close to you. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Bring Live for Music to your school!!

We've performed at three high schools, so far: Maple Mountain High School (Spanish Fork, UT), Layton High School (Layton, UT), and Tualatin High School (Tualatin, OR). All three were successful shows! We truly enjoyed performing with these high school kids and would absolutely love to perform with any one of those kids again.

Here's a YouTube video with some backstage footage of two of those shows. Please show this video to everyone you can! Pass it along to high school teachers, students, parents, or anyone else you can think of.

Any schools interested in bringing Live for Music to their school, please contact Scott Holmes: liveformusictv@gmail.com

You can also book Live for Music directly from our website: Live for Music Website

Do you know anyone in Utah or Portland, OR?

If these first high school shows are successful, my team and I will be doing them at hundreds of high schools around the country. This could essentially provide a huge chunk of annual funding to all high schools so we can keep music education alive. Please tell friends and family about this and help me support the music and arts programs at high schools around the country!

The first concerts are:
Sept. 8th-9th: Maple Mountain High School (Spanish Fork, UT). 7pm. Tickets are $10. Visit the high school website to buy tickets in advance (http://mmhs.nebo.edu)
Sept. 11th: Layton High School (Layton, UT). 7pm. Tickets are $10. Get tickets at the door or at the school.
Sept. 16th: Tualatin High School (Tualatin, OR). 7:30pm. Tickets are $5. Get tickets at the door or at the school.

For a list of all high schools currently booked for the Live for Music Tour, visit: www.liveformusictour.com

Thanks and we hope to see you at one of these awesome concerts!!

Show your support for our Live for Music Tour!

As you may or may not be aware, many high school music programs across the country are being downsized or completely cut due to lack of funding. This is a real tragedy, since the appreciation of music can have such a profound effect on so many lives. The goal of our tour is to raise awareness of this issue and to give these music programs a needed boost. We've booked over 20 high schools around the country for our first Live for Music Tour and are very excited about the potential of this tour.
